About Me
- catholicandgop
- Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.

Well, it could be a good move. Kissinger can bring a breadth of knowledge in international affairs to the Holy See.
I prefer to remain anonymous, and by that I mean that I won't include my email address here because I really don't want to risk getting a flood of mail from nutcases calling me everything from a satanist to a paranoid conspiracy-nut. I'm neither of these; I love God, and I'm grateful for the blessing He has given me, end of sentence. I'm not going to even touch the subject of whose "hot-line" to God is the correct one. My name, by the way, is Roger, and friends affectionately refer to me as "Raj".
I met Henry Kissinger once, and he gave me the creeps. I don't think he's a good person, and I don't think Pope Benedict's decision to use him as an adviser is prudent. Kissinger's record on human rights is anything but a good one.
Don't take my word for it: do some research for yourself and decide.
God Bless.
