But they also include a photo of Ted Kennedy not presenting himself to communion.
They note...
It seems from his actions today, Senator Kennedy is, at least in public, refraining from Communion and thus refusing to create what the Church calls public "scandal".
I guess I shouldn't be praising him for doing something that he should do anyway (or not doing something he shouldn't be doing) but compared to his colleagues it is impressive (a sign of low standards?).
So now that I've said something nice about Ted Kennedy, does that make me bipartisan?

Haha! I had just posted and was just about to head over here and ask if you slept through it or not...
Sigh. Ever feel like you miss out on the interesting stuff? lol
As a priest at my former parish once said (in a homily about proper reception of Holy Communion), "Don't pop Jesus like a Tic Tac!"
I actually didn't know this had happened until I read it on American Papist yesterday. I was working on wrapping up my class a LOT yesterday, and I've steered clear of most of the MSM coverage.
I cannot wrap my feeble mind around how these folks are able to support such an abhorration and still practice our faith...
one of life's little mysteries!
