Tripped and Fell

I was going to the car after class and I tripped and fell. There was a hole in the ground and there isn't enough light around there and I tripped, lost my shoe, scraped my hand (I've got it bandaged up now), and a nice bruise on one leg and a scrape on the other. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find my shoe in the hole - not that it was a deep hole, but it was full of old leaves. My nice shirt is all covered in dirt now too.

Maybe its karma for the little old lady that fell last week.

And just before I started this entry, a mosquito sat down and gave me a good bite on the hand.

We don't often have skeeters here in the desert, but, they don't like capsaicin. So, eat lots of jalapenos and Tabasco; they will leave you alone. :) Hey, it works for me.

plus you can prevent cancer too by eating those jalapenos.

Sunny, hope you weren't too badly hurt.

About Me

My photo
Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.
