Pro-Life Mass in Chicago

Dear Pro-Lifer,

I’d like to invite you to a historic Catholic Mass taking place
next Friday at Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago in honor of Our
Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas:

EVENT: Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass
WHEN: Friday, December 12, 2008 at Noon
WHERE: Federal Plaza, 50 W. Adams
MAP: http://tinyurl.com/fedplaza
MORE INFO: http://prolifeaction.org/#guadalupe

This Mass is being sponsored by a coalition of pro-life groups,
including the Pro-Life Action League, the Archdiocese of Chicago,
and the Thomas More Society Pro-Life Law Center.

The principal celebrant will be Bishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, with
several other priests concelebrating. Liturgical music will be
provided by a group from St. Agnes of Bohemia.

This Mass, the first ever in Federal Plaza, is a significant exercise
of our religious freedoms, right on federal property — directly
across the street from Barack Obama’s transition team office!

After Mass, stay for a fiesta featuring mariachi music, Mexican
sweet breads, hot chocolate and coffee.

If you can attend this historic Mass, be sure to dress warmly. But
if you can’t be there, please say many prayers for good weather.

Yours for Life,

– Eric

P.S. I also want to remind you that our Abortion Clinic Christmas
Caroling Day is coming up December 20, with two tours: one in
Chicago and one in DuPage County:

Very very good. Go read my blog though and if there is anything you think you might want to do or take from what happened here, pass this news around, etc. go for it.

About Me

My photo
Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.
