On the Edge of My Seat

The White Sox are playing a one-game tiebreaker with Minnesota tonight to see who gets the Central title. I only wish the Sox had taken up my suggestion a few years ago of cloning Mark Buehrle so we could have him pitching tonight - but he did an excellent job last night to get us to this tiebreaker.

My hopes are not high, even if they win this game, but lets Go Go-Go White Sox, Chicago is proud of you.

Well...OK!

I'm recalling those days of yesteryear, when there were two leagues, American, and National. And each consisted of eight teams, NO playoffs, NO wild cards, NO billion-dollar payrolls, etc.

(Only playoff might occurr in case of a tie at the end of the regular season.)

Hey! Thank God Brownback voted against that bill. I wouldn't have been able to look at him the same if he had supported it. But McCain went beyond disappointing us yet again.

About Me

My photo
Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.
