Chef Up To Her Elbows In Batter As She Bakes Pope's Birthday Cake
GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- Leslie Goldman-Poyourow was up to her elbows in heaps of flour, buckets of batter and plenty of pans on Tuesday.
Her job was to bake a cake -- a cake for the pope's 81st birthday.
"No pressure," she said.
She was working to create an edible version of the Vatican complete with St. Peter's Square.
