You Know You're Catholic When...

This evening my friends wanted to go to this tiki bar (I had a couple of non-alcoholic cherry daiquiris). As I walked in I had to do a double take because attached to the wall was an ash tray, but I thought it was a holy water font.

LOL! I read in the CAF that someone felt like genuflecting at the movie aisle. :-)

Or you feel like a Catholic when you hear someone reading from the Gospel and when he reads Jesus saying "Peace be with you" you automatically reply "And also with you" (true story, someone else did it)

Yeah, I've done goofy stuff like that. Like saying Amen after the pledge of allegiance...

About Me

My photo
Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.
