So tomorrow is election day, and I'm still confused. I have printed out the directions from Stufflebeam's website on how to write him in. 90% of me has decided to vote for him. The other 10% sort of breaks like this.
50% of that 10% which is 5% of the total says I should vote for Topinka because according to the pro-life rating system I looked at she is a 3 which is mostly opposed to pro-life issues, but Blagojevich is a 4 completely opposed. So I can vote for Topinka in the hopes that a 3 is better than a 4 because she has a chance to win, as opposed to Stufflebeam who is a 1 but has no chance.
The other 5% of me says that I should vote for Stufflebeam because I don't want the ILLGOP to take me for granted, and by giving me a candidate that is a 3 which isn't much better than a 4 instead of giving me a 1 or a 2 they aren't really giving me a choice. I really don't like being taken for granted by the ILLGOP, they need to give me something to vote for since I'm not going to blindly punch the R.
So I guess we'll have to see what happens tomorrow. Will I actually talk to the election judge to learn how to vote with a write-in? Will the 95% win out over the 5%? Will I get lost in all these numbers? These questions and many more will be answered tomorrow.

About Me
- catholicandgop
- Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.

I still say LIFE defies party lines.
We sacrifice and struggle for those pre-born kids... and the pre-born who are very threatened are not Dem or GOP – they only need to live.
Vote Pro-Life. If a GOP candidate is not pro-life, that’s the fault of the candidate. You don’t owe a political party a thing…
But our candidates owe it to our future to be supporting something as very basic as the right for our children to be born.
I do understand that elections are sometimes not easy… believe me, if the GOP nominates a solid pro-abortion candidate, I’ll have to not vote for that person… but it would SUCK.
But this is a struggle for the pre-born, and struggles by their very nature are not easy. :)
God bless you…
And God Bless America
