End of My Internship

Well my internship has ended... actually it ended last week. I'm not going to say where I was working (although friends can ask me privately where it was at), but I will say that it was a Christian charity. This was really my first experience working in and being in an office so it was a good experience in that way.

Whats interesting is that although I complained about working there all summer, I kind of miss going. I like the work that they do. And I liked the people there. I didn't like getting 4 - 5 hours of sleep and leaving the house at 7am.

It was interesting too working at a place that is soooo Christian. That has no problems expressing their love for Jesus. I had to get used to the prayer time after office meetings.

All in all good experience, despite anything contrary I may have said earlier.

So how much time do you have off before entering the real world of work?

Well I should have only one more semester left. But after that I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself.

Well, you're pretty smart, I sure you'll succeed in whatever you choose to do.

Nah, I'm not that smart, but I'll take the compliment. ;)

About Me

My photo
Catholic and politically conservative, I graduated with a BA in History (concentration in American) and Political Science. I'm between two parishes; one in Wisconsin that is fairly traditional, and one in Illinois that is fairly liberal. I teach CCD. I work in the food service industry, which basically means I'm working in fast food until I find a better job. I'd like to work for the church somehow. Right now I'm working on getting my teaching certification, although I'm unsure thats the correct path for me. This blog is as random as I am. I hope you enjoy.
